What Should my Pregnancy Symptoms be at 5 Weeks?
At 5 weeks in a pregnancy, you should begin to notice some of the more subtle changes that your body is going through as it begins to travel through pregnancy. By this time, you have most likely missed a period, indicating the chances that you are pregnant. However, it is also possible for a light period to occur, which is actually the implantation of the embryo.
Many women begin noticing simple mood changes at this time. They may feel more irritable than normal, but can sometimes associate this with their monthly period as well. Another item that may be present is fatigue or an increase in tiredness. This is one of the most common complaints that women experience during the first few weeks of pregnancy.
Another item that you may notice when you are five weeks pregnant is nausea and vomiting. While this is usually called morning sickness, it can actually occur at any time during the day.
You may also notice that you are having to visit the bathroom more at this time. Some women also begin to notice a bit of weight gain at this point, but this is usually only a pound. Keep in mind that every woman is different, so if you are not experiencing any symptoms at five weeks, you shouldn’t be alarmed.
